Jimmy Fitzpatrick gets shut down - but we can fight back
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 4:35PM Our friend Jimmy Fitzpatrick, is being shut down by a few neighbors. No more riding, and no more filming. Jimmy is always respectful of his surroundings when he rides on his property. He has been riding and filming at his house recently for an upcoming MTV show. He has three neighbors that are now trying to shut down any activity regarding riding on personal property in our area. He has asked anyone and everyone to be at a council meeting this Tuesday, February 10th. The reason it is important is that it would affect Degan, Adams and all local riders that live in the area from riding on their property. It is a huge issue in our area.
We can't just sit back and let these people who don't know the first thing about our industry come and shut it down. If we do nothing now, this will get worse and pretty soon, we won't be able to ride anywhere.
I urge you to call the Riverside County and complain. If we can get hundreds of riders and athletes to come down and show their support, perhaps we can continue to ride.
More details to follow.
